Livingston, Texas
Where Every Cut Starts With the Land.
Family-owned and operated since day one. We raise American Wagyu the right way — on open pasture, with patience, and with pride.
Our Story
Two Generations, One Ranch.
F n F Cattle Company was founded by Father and Son with a simple belief: that the best beef in the world doesn't have to come from Japan. It can come from Texas.
Nestled in the piney woods of Livingston, Texas, our family ranch is home to American Wagyu cattle. Both Johns have grew this land, and learning the craft of rising great beef— and today, both generations work side by side to raise cattle that meet an uncompromising standard.
We don't cut corners. We don't rush the process. Every animal is raised on open pasture, fed a carefully managed diet, and harvested at peak marbling. That's the F n F promise.
Pasture-Raised
Our cattle roam open pasture year-round. No feedlot crowding, no shortcuts — just land, grass, and time.
BMS 6+ Marbling
The ultimate target is Beef Marbling Score 6 and above on every animal. That's the standard that separates good beef from extraordinary beef.
Ranch to Door
We handle every step — from raising to processing to shipping. No middlemen. Your beef comes directly from our family to yours.
Family Operated
John Freeman Sr. and John Freeman Jr. run this ranch together. Every decision is made with the family name on the line.
The Breed
What Makes American Wagyu Different.
American Wagyu is a cross between Japanese Wagyu genetics — the most prized beef cattle in the world — and traditional American breeds like Black Angus and Beefmasters. The result is a beef that combines the extraordinary intramuscular fat marbling of Japanese Wagyu with the robust, beefy flavor profile that American palates love.
The marbling isn't just visual. It melts at a lower temperature than conventional beef fat, which means every bite is buttery, tender, and rich in a way that commodity beef simply cannot replicate. Once you've had it, there's no going back.
