From pasture to your door

Our Process

Every pound of F n F beef follows the same path — open pasture, careful harvest, expert processing, and direct shipment to your door. No middlemen. No mystery.

The herd

Raised on Open Pasture

Our American Wagyu cross cattle spend their lives on the rolling pastures of Livingston, Texas. They graze on native grasses, drink clean water, and are never crowded into feedlots.

Wagyu genetics require time — these animals take significantly longer to reach market weight than commodity cattle. We don't rush that. The extended time on pasture is exactly what builds the deep intramuscular fat that makes the beef extraordinary.

Harvest

Humane & Low-Stress Harvest

When an animal reaches peak condition, it is harvested at a USDA-inspected facility. We work exclusively with processors who share our commitment to low-stress handling — because how an animal is treated at harvest directly affects the quality of the meat.

Stress at harvest releases cortisol and lactic acid into the muscle, toughening the beef and dulling the flavor. Calm, humane handling preserves the tenderness and taste you're paying for.

Aging & butchering

Expert Processing & Cutting

After harvest, carcasses are hung and aged to allow natural enzymatic processes to tenderize the muscle fibers and deepen the flavor. Our processor then breaks each carcass down to your specification — whether that's individual retail cuts, a custom half-animal order, or a whole-animal reservation.

Every cut is hand-trimmed, inspected, and vacuum-sealed to lock in freshness. Labels include the cut name, weight, and pack date so you always know exactly what you're cooking.

Packing & shipping

Packed Cold. Shipped Direct.

Orders are packed in insulated boxes with dry ice and shipped directly from our processor to your door. We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure your beef arrives before the weekend — never sitting in a warehouse over the weekend.

Because we sell direct, there's no retail markup, no re-handling, and no guessing how long the beef sat in a display case. From our ranch to your kitchen — that's the whole chain.

Direct

ranch to door

Why it matters

Direct means better beef.

The typical beef supply chain passes through a feedlot, a packing plant, a distributor, a regional warehouse, and a retail case before it reaches you — each step adding time, handling, and cost. We cut all of that out. You get fresher beef, a fair price, and the ability to ask us exactly where your animal came from.

Fresher

Shipped within days of processing, not weeks.

Traceable

You can ask us about the specific animal your beef came from.

Fairly priced

No retail markup — you pay ranch-direct pricing.

Consistent

Same herd, same process, same quality every order.
